"Menu of Compassion" is an evolving artistic concept inspired by a life-changing hitchhiking adventure in Southeast Asia and a shift towards ethical eating. This exhibition features twenty-two artworks that honour the animals previously consumed. Veganism promotes empathy for all creatures, advocating for equal treatment and recognizing animals as individuals rather than objects. By acknowledging their uniqueness and emotional complexity, we challenge the perception of animals as mere products and encourage a deeper understanding and humane treatment. I also explore themes of body autonomy and feminism, highlighting their connections to veganism and the broader. My art serves as an advocacy for social rights and issues, intersecting social themes and realism. I aim to spark conversations about uncomfortable topics through a sensorial exhibition that includes visual artworks and immersive soundscapes, inviting the audience to engage and reflect on these critical issues.
